About The Master Class Teachers
Ty Graynor has principles of José Limon value the inherent expressiveness of the human body through the use of breath and ones relationship to gravity. Class will explore the constant cycle of fall, rebound, and recovery as a means of exploring a courageous and expansive dance with space and weight.
Hannah Anderson - Move with ease and intention in this exploratory contemporary class for intermediate to advanced students. Hannah's class focuses on gorgeous, fluid floorwork patterns, along with a sprinkle of expressive choreography! Many of the foundational principles are drawn from Ground Grooves - an emerging floorwork approach that emphasizes methodical and safe practices for movers.

He received most of his training at Dramatic Truth School of the Arts, where he studied ballet, Graham technique, jazz, contemporary, and more. He is currently in his eighth season as a company member with Bruce Wood Dance Dallas and has performed works choreographed by Bruce Wood, Twyla Tharp, Jiri Kylian, Lar Lubovich, Joy Bollinger and more. Before joining BWD, Seth performed and trained at Ad Deum Dance Company and has worked alongside Open Sky Arts Collective, Ballet Brazos, Störling Dance Theatre, and more. Seth has taught multiple styles for over ten years and as an amateur choreographer, he has set several works in the local Dallas area.”
"Contemporary Partner & Play is an energetic, exploratory workshop designed for artists to move, connect, and experiment. We approach partnering through the lens of play—offering prompts, games, and technical tools to build your skillset and expand how you sense and support another body. Starting with guided connection and sensory awareness, we explore structured contact improv and dynamic partnering concepts. With a focus on body mechanics and efficient lifting, dancers learn to partner with ease—not force. Leave feeling stronger, more connected, and ready to fly.
We breathe. We sweat. We partner. We play."
Jennifer Mabus’ technique class is driven by her love and dance and a belief in the artists in the room. It is grounded in the wisdom of modern dance traditions, while expanding on these ideas to meet the needs and curiosities of the contemporary dancer. The class will begin with floor, standing and improvisational movement material that will research the actions of the center and spine in relationship to the limbs. We will expand upon this research with traveling phrases that will aim to increase the dancer’s physicality and technical abilities. The class will conclude with a phrase that will allow the dancers to make aesthetic and expressive choices.
